Flute

The flute is a family of musical instruments in the woodwind group. Flute is an aerophone or reedless wind instrument that produces its sound from the flow of air across an opening. The sound is made by blowing a stream of air over the mouthpiece, and pressing down on the instrument’s keys. Varying the air flow into the instrument can affect the pitch, volume, and type of sound created. Through individual lessons and group lessons Crescendo School of Music students are able to learn to play different playing tehnuque, perform on live concerts both solo or part of an ensemble.
